Marilyn Millstone
1 man, 2 women
10 minute comedy
About the play:
Meet Robert and Alese Langford, a sophisticated older couple whose children are pushing them to leave their longtime home for Silver Glades, an elite retirement community. At the Prospective Resident Interview, Patricia, a well‑meaning MSW, tries to keep things on track while Alese and Robert gently bend expectations with polished charm and precise timing. What begins as routine paperwork becomes a cat‑and‑mouse conversation that tests assumptions about aging, autonomy, and who’s really in control. Sometimes you don’t know who is compos mentis—of sound mind—and who is not.
Here’s what they’re saying about the show:

Gunther, Theatre Bloom
- “[One of the] two strongest plays of the evening.” —Jeffrey Borak, The Berkshire Eagle
