Perhaps you heard the "Yeah!" heard around the world! It was all of us at ArtAge celebrating that our catalog was done! The cheer came after many months of reading, editing, selecting, and finalizing our updated collection.

Now, we have over 70 new items in the Senior Theatre Resource Center, bringing the collection to over 400 plays, books, and materials from which you can choose.

There's something for everyone, no matter if you're a rank amateur or a skilled professional. Of course, you'll find many short plays filled with roles for modern seniors. We've also discovered new longer plays and musicals. Our selections were made with you in mind. We know that you trust us to connect you with the plays, books, and materials that will work for you.

Now it's your turn. The catalog is online and in the mail. So, visit our updated website where our enhanced search feature will help you select by genre, length, and cast size. Take a moment and read the FreeView, a short cutting of the play. You can even leave comments!

You'll appreciate that now all of our e-scripts and e-documents:

  • Are automatically downloadable. There's no waiting for an e-mail.
  • Are delivered without a shipping fee. That's right, FREE shipping on e-scripts and e-documents!

We hope that when you read the catalog and visit the website that you'll shout, "Yeah!" also. You're really going to enjoy all the fun stuff we've found!

The Community Theatre of Sun River St George in Utah came alive in January 2013 with a production of The Many Faces of Entertainment. The dynamic, all-age cast of 36 strutted their stuff in songs, piano and flute music, stand-up comedy, dance, and a one act play.

Between August and December the company used their theatrical skills by appearing as disaster actors for the Neighborhood First Responders Group. Twenty members did their best to moan and groan as injured actors/victims!

The Theatre also participated in a Fashion Show where actresses walked the runway like pros. Afterwards, the group appeared in the annual Dickens Festival dressed as street people complete with English accents from merry old England. The actors were peddlers who were selling apples, street musicians and singers, and suffragettes carrying signs promoting a woman's right to vote.

Last month, the company performed three performances of Senior Moments and No Frills Airline for three performances. The company continues to grow as they have fun bringing theatre to the community!
