Under a Magical Moon is a 2-character show about reconnected love, a favorite theme in Senior Theatre. This award-winning show is one of the best! Age on StageTM:10 Minute Plays features two shows perfect for Valentine’s Day. · Cross Words – This is a clever look at those idiosyncrasies we all love in our spouses. · Edge of Forever – This touching play explores the depth of the affection that develops after 50 years of marriage. Carol Burnett’s Old Folks Sketches. Two character scenes, just like you remember them from the television show. Just a Song at Twilight is a Senior Theatre classic, a true love story on stage, and with the playwright. Read her amazing story and you’ll love the show even more! New Plays for Mature Actors includes Old Flames, a touching story that brings two lovers together after many years of separation. Written by the popular playwright, DK Oklahoma. Theatre of Memories: Creating Oral History Revues includes The Book of Love which explores ‘Love and what it means to me’ in a play developed by the older actors at UNLV. The Grosse Pointe Theatre’s director, Barb Elliott, says "We staged The Book of Love to great acclaim! We're having a ball and we had full houses and standing ovations!" The show is very flexible and works well with any number and gender of performers. Try it! Gin and Tonic, Garden of Entanglements, and Roses to Plan are three short scripts based on several stages of love. They show love between older people in a dating relationship, in a weathered-but-strong relationship, and in a love-of-many-years relationship. Written by professional playwrights, each script uses one man and one woman, two are 10 minutes long the other is 18 minutes. Strong, well written and easy to perform, they work well as a set of three or perform them by themselves. Also take a look at Coconut Creme Pie.
