Now Hear This is a fast-paced comedy in which 6 characters on a cruise ship continuously misinterpret passed messages, similar to the old telephone game. There’s a ship captain, a brash, aggressive cigar-smoking Senator who always gets his way, a cowering Senator’s aide, an attractive lady, and two waitresses. Each hears something differently and passes it on. The results are disastrous as they become increasingly involved in the exchange of messages filled with mistaken information. The play always gets lots of laughs. Written for and performed by a Senior Theatre company.
