Mark Twain’s Last Stand available for 2010 shows
Last year, Mark Twain’s Last Stand played to packed houses around the country, received standing ovations, and kudos from the press and audiences alike. In fact, the show was hailed as “A work of genius” by the Mark Twain Society. The Independent newspaper reported that the show was filled with “Fine acting with perfect timing, and scintillating humor”. Meanwhile, the Ironton Record Journal reported that the show kept the audience “on the edge of their seats.”
Nearly everywhere the show has been presented, audience members are amazed when they are transported through time, completely forgetting they are in a theatre watching a performance. Mark Twain comes alive with stories and humor both old and new.
2010 marks the Centennial of Mark Twain’s death.
