Scrooge with a Twist is a delightful retelling of the beloved Christmas story which indeed has many twists. These funny, unexpected turns in the story combined with some audience participation make it fresh and entertaining piece for any audience. The play revolves around an actor who comes to auditions to play the part of a really “bad guy.” He finds out that he isn’t that type at all and though the narrator prods him to be “bad,” it’s just not possible. What makes the show unique is that is performed in readers theatre style with some audience participation. the format combines familiar Christmas carols, a Greek chorus, and the usual “Scrooge” characters. Very Popular!
