Recent performance of Reflections on Civil Rights
Adrienne’s Actors are a diverse group of mature actors who are trained in commercial and theatrical acting. Inspired by her mother's acting career, in 1993 Adrienne started teaching commercial acting for mature adults for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She originated this program and wrote the course that is now being used as a model throughout the state of California.
Training
Classes train actors for commercials and theatre. The program includes commercial acting techniques, improvisation and theatre workshops.
Successes
Adrienne's Actors have appeared on hundreds of commercials, student films, videos, movies, television shows, print ads and reality television.
Performances
- 2008 -2009 Seniors Against Senior Scams-Performances in Los Angeles, including for the Los Angeles City Council.
- 2010 National Endowment for the Arts -Adventures of Tom Sawyer at Geffen Playhouse.
- 2011 Los Angeles City Department of Cultural Affairs -Reflections on Civil Rights, Geffen Playhouse.
Community
Adrienne's Actors perform in local senior facilities, libraries, schools and hospitals, sharing their many talents.
